Join us in celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Pat Quinn Classic, a premier youth hockey tournament that honors the legacy of Pat Quinn and Burnaby’s rich hockey history. Our mission is to provide an exceptional experience for young athletes, fostering sportsmanship, competition, and the spirit of hockey.
Taking place in Burnaby, BC, the 2025 tournament marks a decade of hockey and hosting excellence. Expect competitive games featuring top youth hockey teams, all within a welcoming environment that encourages sportsmanship and teamwork. Additionally, special events and activities will be organized to celebrate our 10th anniversary, making the tournament an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Registration Process
- Review Policies: Cancellation Policy and the Stay and Play Policy below carefully
- Fill out the form below to register. (Please note that registration will not be complete until full payment has been processed.)
- Check the email you listed as the “Primary Contact.” You should receive the confirmation email here and all other important tournament communications.
- Travel teams will be required to book accommodations through our partner hotels at exclusive discounted rates.
REGISTRATION CLOSES SEPTEMBER 30
ELIgibility
- U17 Flight 1 division open to zone and academy teams, and USA Tier 1 teams as per appropriate birth year
- U15 Flight 1 and U13 Flight 2 are ideal for teams not quite ready to compete against the very best but are still the top team in your association/program. These teams are playing at a strong level of play but are not necessarily tournament travel teams
- U15 Flight 2 is for local or equivalent BC Hockey Minor Hockey Associations playing in Flight 1 or 2
- U13 Flight 1 division open to teams that can compete at the highest U13 levels
- Past season’s results will be considered when evaluating suitability
- All Hockey Canada and USA Hockey programs are eligible
- The Event Managers reserve the right to move teams from flights and/ordivisions at their discretion, and with no refund

Team Schedules
Female & Integrated U13 Divisions
- Start Time: Games will begin as early as 8:00 AM on December 27
- End Time: Championship games will conclude by 5:00 PM on December 30
Integrated U15 & U17 Divisions
- Start Time: Games will begin as early as 8:00 AM on December 28
- End Time: Championship games will conclude by 5:00 PM on December 31

Cancellation Policy
To secure your team’s spot in the tournament, you must complete registration and submit full registration payment + tax (CAD)
- If the tournament does not proceed or if your team is deemed ineligible (e.g. U.S. teams or inter-provincial teams), a full refund will be issued, minus a $50 CAD administrative fee.
- Cancellations made before November 15, 2025, will be subject to a $500 CAD cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made on or after November 15, 2025, are non-refundable.

Stay and Play Policy
To recognize the contributions of the local accommodation partners, the Pat Quinn Classic enforces a Stay-and-Play policy, requiring all travel teams to stay in designated parter hotels. For the purpose of this policy, a travel team is defined as any team residing outside the Lower Mainland. Failure to comply with this policy will result in the team’s removal from the tournament without a refund.
