The Pat Quinn Classic site is designed to promote and provide information on the annual Pat Quinn Classic hockey tournament, managed by Tourism Burnaby and operated by Inside Edge Hockey. The site also provides means of registering, processing payments and collecting team information for the purposes of administration, operations, and hockey-specific requirements related to the tournament.

Any personal information provided to us through our website is collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the British Columbia Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and other applicable legislation.

For example, personal information may be used to: contact you about team acceptance to the tournament; provide you with tournament-specific information around schedules, merchandise sales, event logistics, offers, sponsors, safety concerns etc.; obtain necessary team information and forms on your athletes, coaches, and team managers, which will be shared with our operations team, Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association and BC Hockey as required; or provide feedback on your tournament experience. Some optional player and contact information may be requested by the Pat Quinn Classic, and that information will be shared with Rink Net, who will use that data to supply to their registered scouts. Any of the optional information provided is the responsibility of the team manager or coach, and the responsibility to obtain consent from the players and parent/guardian to share that information. In most cases, we try to obtain explicit consent before these activities will occur. At any time, anyone may request that we stop communicating by contacting us directly.

storage, access, and disclosure of your peronal information

Tourism Burnaby and our service providers (for support reasons) may store or access your Personal Information which may reside outside of Canada. In certain circumstances, we may need to disclose your personal information to our service providers in order to facilitate the operation of our website, database, tournament operations, contesting or email marketing software. In some cases, these service providers may reside outside of Canada. Tourism Burnaby is obligated to protect personal information by making reasonable security arrangements against such risks as unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure or disposal.
